Surrounded by the nature of the Val Pedogna, near the natural park of the Alpi Apuane, in a secluded and quiet position, the Residence “Ai Sorbi” is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The entire property has been recently renovated and equipped with elegant furniture, with the typical Tuscan architecture mixed up with a modern style. The owner Andrea Salvetti is an artist who built this home with the help of some of the best designers (E.Sottsass, G.Pesce,A.Ciffo etc.). Moreover, the position of the house is really perfect, since it is surrounded by the nature of a valley but 22 km away from Lucca and 35 km away from the sea. You can easily reach the Garfagnana, with its typical products (porcino mushrooms, chestnuts flour and hulled wheat), as well as Pisa, Florence, Siena and other Tuscan destinations. The stone swimming pool is 13x6 m and you can get to the property through 500 m of a paved road.

The host Patrizia is lovely, really helpful. Comfortable and spacious house which is well equipped and with characterful designer furnishings and lighting etc. Though quite pleased to find a modern more traditional sofa than the seating cubes shown on the website photos. Excellent wifi in the house, though it didn't reach to the pool (not a bad thing!). Good aircon which managed to keep the 35C heat at bay. Be prepared for a couple of kilometers single track road with few passing places to get to the property. It's a quiet road though and we only met a couple of cars when leaving on the last day. Recommend visiting the small hilltop town Coreglia Antelminelli, and we had a lovely visit to the Orto Botanico in the Apuan Alps, amazing views of mountains made of carrara marble, and guided tours of the wild flowers just 5 euros each.

We had a great time at this property! The location is remote and quiet. The pool was sensational. The renovated small house has everything you need to enjoy, bond and reconnect with the loved ones. A great grocery store (Esselunga) is 15 in away by car. Highly recommended!

Wonderful location on top of a hill with great view of the valley! The house is beautiful, spotless clean and well equipped! In the description it says "wifi available" but it is not functional and will probably never work properly! So don't count on it or on mobile connection either.
The pool is just wonderful! It's large, fresh and always clean! We loved it and spent lots of time dashing around it!
Location good, short drive to supermarket and to Lucca!
Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to come back!
