Amazing (cold!) pool and shared space, beautiful view, super friendly and helpful staff. Really nice sea breeze by the pool up on the first floor too.
Only downside were the pillows - kinda lumpy, but I think that’s the Chacahua way.

I stayed 4 nights as Casa Gitana.
Was planning on staying 2 nights, but I loved it so much and had to extend my stay.
The place was amazing.
It’s located away from the village, which means it’s super calm and quiet. It means though that it’s a bit of a walk into the village, but I didn’t mind it. Walking home on the beach after sunset, in the dark was quite magical as you can see a ton of stars and the bioleminescense in the ocean ✨😍
The facilities were great too, and the pool was wonderful, with a view to the ocean.
Last but not least the staff are such sweethearts, so helpful and kind ♥️
The only thing I missed was a board of their names, as I’m quite bad with names 😅
Oh and they have the cutest dog there. Nothing feels more like home, than a place with a dog ♥️
Also the village and neoghbourhood is filled with amazing people. Everyone was so kind and helpful - and very forgiving of my poor spanish.
Will definitely come back and I strongly recommend it to everyone who likes slowpaced and calm vibes 😌✨
I didn’t see any cinema or live-music, which the signs said that they would have. But I had a wonderful time, so it was no biggie

The space was quiet (I think we were the only guests). The pool and yoga decks had great views of the water- I spotted a sea tutle laying eggs from the yoga deck! Yoga mats available for use. The third floor with the jacuzzi was great too. Our room was sea view but I would say that was a stretch. You could see the ocean if you sat off to one side but there were some obstructions with plants. Room was basic but had a/c, places to hang wet clothes, hot water and body wash/shampoo. There was water available in the common spaces and Wifi worked great!
There was sand in our room when we arrived, which I get is hard to avoid since the room exits onto sand however it was like some spots were missed when cleaning. Our room was not cleaned during our stay (4 nights)- no trash emptied, no towels replaced, no sheets changed. We didn't expect everyday cleaning but at least once would have been nice. The staff is friendly and engaging if you initiate but I wouldn't say they were very helpful. We asked about a tour but there wasn't any followup. There was a sign for yoga but no one really gave us the rundown. There is a 3rd story that we had to ask about using. The pool was not clean. We ended up replacing the water after it sat empty for 1/2 a day- there were full jugs on the ground. Again, they were very friendly but just some hospitatlity that was missing.
Communication prior to arrival was poor. We found out that our staff had only been there a week so possibly why but the owners should be in better control of this. They send an email explaining theres no atms and island is mostly cash only. I inquired about costs of different things since we needed to prepare and did not receive a response. We had to message 4+ times to get a response.
You had to pay to use the 3rd story during sunset.
No coffee until 8:30a :(
