We had a lovely time and would like to stay here again when the weather is nicer! We needed the heating turned up as we had a 4 month old baby with us and Rowland was very accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Wasn't anything we didn't like but a suggestion would be some children's books! Would have been a nice touch and helps to make the property more appealing for families. (One less thing to bring with us!)
Also, a couple of robes for the run to the hot tub would have been appreciated but again, just suggestions to improve an already lovely place.

Amazing location right on sea front
Very comfy bed
Very charming cottage
Not great for tall people (low ceilings)
Not ideal for a toddler, as lots os steep stairs and narrow doorways

My sister loved everything about the cottage & the location, as she was a frequent visitor to the area when her children were smaller. We so enjoyed our stay and Rowland was fantastic with communication before & throughout.

The cottage is quirky but it’s a lovely place to stay. Its location is amazing and very relaxing. Added bonus is The Coast Inn is right next door. It’s a comfortable place to stay and very relaxing. I would recommend.
One thing to note, we may have been very lucky but I would not worry about driving over The Strood, it’s not as bad as I expected.
By no means negative but if you are near to or over 6 feet, some of the ceiling beams and door frames are a little close for comfort 😆
