The very large Victorian room, with lovely ceiling molding, adapted well to being a bed-sitting room. The shower room and kitchen area were petite but had been fitted very well into the space. The long counter below the large screen TV was very useful for food prep at one end and laptop at the other.
We were very grateful that a street parking permit was arranged.
We were not as warm as we would have liked to be and were glad the January weather did not turn even colder. The shower worked well but the bath towels were too small.
For several hours after we arrived, there was a thudding from the floor above - maybe someone drumming or other music. Fortunately it did not persist throughout our stay.
There was no exterior light making the front steps dangerous, especially as there were some wobbly paviours next to the lowest step.

Thin walls and being right next to the front door was noisy.

- Great peaceful location, very quiet
- The room was clean and spacious
- Good Wi-Fi
- Friendly staff and very responsive
- Would have been nice if someone was there on my arrival to walk me through the property to show me where what is and how everything works, what’s shared and not. ☹️
- There is a full dumpster by the main entrance.
- Scheduled maintenance should be communicated as it was very hard to work and rest due to the noise.
- Couldn’t open the windows, not sure they open.
