Comfy beds, plenty of games for the kids, great location for game day weekends at UT with the family. Comfortable for 5 adults and 3 kids.

We were very pleased with our rental property in Knoxville. It was the perfect set-up for our family of 5 and a couple of extras - 5 teenagers total! The layout of the bathrooms and bedrooms gave everyone space to feel comfortable and access easily. The secluded location was very close to all things Knoxville and a reasonable drive to attractions outside of the City. Though noisy from the nearby highway, we still enjoyed winding down by the fire pit in the evenings. Our favorite memory will be sitting by the fireplace in the living room and our entire group playing a game (provided!) together on our final evening together. Kudos to the owners for making it easy to create a family game night! The beds were cozy. The towels were plush. The k-cups were appreciated. Dollar General was only a few minutes away. While visiting Knoxville, our family hiked at Fort Dickerson Park, swam at Augusta Quarry, ate and shopped at Market Square, wandered World's Fair Park, took a day trip to The Lost Sea (owner recommendation), and finished with a college visit to UT. We highly recommend this rental property for families and friends traveling together!

My family and I have the following comments about this property:
1. The posting did not mention that one bathroom was accessible only through two of the bedrooms and that one of the bedrooms was accessible only through a bathroom. This arrangement was not convenient for my party of adult couples and singles.
2. The posting described the location as quiet. However, with no leaves on the trees to deaden the sound, the traffic noise from the Alcoa Highway was fairly constant. It was audible in the king bedroom as well as outside the house.
3. The location of the thermostat in the bathroom made it difficult to regulate the temperature unless the door to the bathroom was left open to the living room. As an aside, the bathroom door would either slam if not fully open or be difficult to open when closed when the heat/fan was on.
4. The house was well supplied with kitchen amenities and the beds were clean and comfortable. However, while clean, the facecloths were stained with makeup (?) or through general use and were not used.
5. Several of the shades/blinds were broken and could not be fully opened or closed. In particular, the blind next to the table in the living room was stuck in an up position.
6. The exterior light attached to the roof near the front door did not work, resulting in limited lighting near the entry to the home.
