About this house rental
Watch deer roam around the surrounding trees, then step into the tub for a soothing soak. Chill with a game of Aracade Basketball and then fire up the grill for some toasted marshmallows on the cozy terrace before watching a movie on the 100-inch projector screen.
Fast Wi-Fi (200 Mbs), TVs in all rooms have Youtube Tv and streaming.
Please read House rules. This is a great place to vacation with friends, family or even a work retreat. Pets welcome but a $75 non-refundable fee for each pet.
2 Kayaks and 2 Standup Paddleboards provided free to guests.
The living room has a 100-inch Projector - the screen automatically comes down from the ceiling. Master Room 55" Flat Screen TV - Both downstairs bedrooms 45" Flat Screen TV - All TVs YouTube TV All are Smart TVs, so you can use your netflix account to watch and entertain the kids/family. We also have an extra queen blow-up mattress in case an additional bed is needed. A BBQ is provided on the back deck, along with a propane tank and standard grilling accessories. The house is fully furnished with essentials - clean sheets, pillows, bath towels, hand towels, toilet paper, make-up remover wipes, etc., pots/pans, plates, bowls, coffee mugs, Keurig Machine, a washer/dryer, ironing board, steak and cooking knives, and more...
Beautiful Point Venture is on the North Side of Lake Travis and directly across from Lakeway.
We provide two guest cards that give you access to the Jr. Olympic-sized pool, basketball courts, a full gym, 50 50-acre park with a playground, and 2 boat ramps. The 50-acre park is huge - surrounded by Lake Travis on both sides. It's great for picnics, and there is plenty of space, so it's never too crowded. The space is fun for children and adults, with swings, a merry-go-round, a playscape, a small playhouse, nature trails, and a basketball court. Besides the park, there are 4 lighted tennis courts, 2 tennis courts, and an award-winning golf course with putting greens and a driving range.
The Point Venture Marine provides a fuel dock and a small store with snacks and beverages. Captain Petes is the only waterfront, floating restaurant with access by boat. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, appetizers, salads, burgers, entrees, and desserts. Guests can also enjoy live music at Captian Petes on the weekends. There are some amazing giant catfish and Carp that are a must-see. The property is conveniently located one block from the water and is a good central spot for all the other places to go. The Captain Petes and the park are both a little less than one mile away walking distance.
We are local, but we have tried to make sure that you will have everything you need.

Explore Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, get the adrenaline flowing at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, and explore Volente Beach Waterpark.
Since we're on the North Side of Lake Travis, it's about a 45 minute drive to proper Austin. A car is definitely recommended.
If you want to rent water sports, call Liquid Thrillz and tell them Flip from Greystones sent you. They will hook you up with an extra discount.

The house is beautiful, location is awesome, neighborhood and view leaves you speechless. I really enjoyed my stay for my birthday vacation . Once you arrive the house is easy to find, the park is within walking distance, there are friendly deers everywhere!! The house has everything you need to cook relax and it’s super clean.. I felt like I was at home so nice and quiet,, I will definitely come back this summer,, the host also will respond to any questions and there are games, water supplies for the lake such as boards kayaks and chairs to use if you need them. Overall this was one my best stays ever. Also there’s motor carts avail to rent to drive around the property which you will need going back and forth to the lake

Our family loved the layout of the house, the views, the sunsets, the friendly deer and taking advantage of the kayaks available at the house. We will strongly consider renting again.

Some highlights of our stay:
1) The location is in a quiet neighborhood
2) The house is beautiful and had everything we needed to have the perfect stay. The kitchen was fully stocked!!
3) The neighborhood deer were just magical. I have more deer videos than I know what to do with now.
4) We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and drinks on the deck watching the sunsets.
5) We went to the pool multiple times but discovered the beach at the park and loved that!
6) We had a golf cart. It was fun but not a necessity. Everything was accessible by car.
7) The communication with Liz was top notch!! She was so wonderful to work with.
8) The electronic basketball game in the garage was a huge hit. I didn't want to be addicted to it but it became a quick family competition. So fun!
9) Next time (because we will be returning to this property) I would bring more things for the lake. We spent hours there enjoying meeting people and hanging out in the water.
10) We went to the restaurant once and it was great for drinks and appetizers and it was a fun atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and had everything you need to cook. Even though we brought some cooking utensils just in case, the house was well stocked. It was cloudy most of our stay but the view was pretty amazing still.
