Apartamentul este foarte frumos și are toate facilitățile de care am avut nevoie. Este un apartament foarte mare și pentru o familie de 5 persoane a fost exact ce ne trebuia. Este locat chiar în centru, la doar 2-3 minute de catedrala și având toate magazinele necesare lângă noi. Gazda este foarte primitoare și pentru orice am avut nevoie ne-a ajutat. Cu siguranță vom reveni tot aici când mai trecem prin Timișoara❤️

The communication with the owner was excellent. His instructions beforehand for approaching the building, parking and entering the apartment were impressively detailed and very helpful. Our getting in to the apartment was the quickest to date. He also suggested a restaurant where we ended up eating at and reallly enjoyed.
The location of the apartment is ideal, right next to the city's main square.
We liked that we had a balcony where we could smoke, but there was only one chair available there and no table for the ashtray, just a small space by the window. And because we didn't feel like carrying a chair from the kitchen to the balcony, we took turns instead of us sitting together as a couple on the balcony to smoke and talk.
We were there for one evening. The main things we really wanted were a comfortable bed, a working fridge, a clean apartment, hot water and peace and quiet. The one thing out of all of these that we didn't have was a spotlessly clean house and that was because the owner of the apartment who does the cleaning by himself is probably not professionally trained. We understant that the apartment is pretty big and thus difficult for one untrained man to keep clean, but finding stains in the bathroom was for us the reason for the rating to drop from 7 to 5 (and that is us being very polite). I'm sorry, but if I find the least bit of dirt in the bathroom (especially on the toilet seat) I am unable to feel comfortable in that unsterilized space. I didn't say anything to my husband until we left so that we would take a shower and wouldn't want to leave immediately, but I waited until we returned to our home in Greece to take a bath.
Another big issue for us was the parking lot and the building. The parking lot was really run down, not at all well-lit at night and because the groung was unpaved, uneven and full of holes and rocks it was very tricky walking there at night, it didn't feel safe. Also, the building was very old and so was the elevator. Not only was it claustrophobic (the two of us with two backpacks could barely fit inside) and deafening, but it really didn't feel extremely safe.
We would have preferred to have a contactless check-out, but we had to meet with the owner (who lives upstairs) and leave the keys to him. Although he was very polite and discreet, having to leave the keys to the host especially in places where the check-in is contactless feels like the host is checking up on us.
