About this chalet rental
Chalet Robin is located a 5-minute walk from the heart of the resort and the shops of Doucy Combelouviere at an altitude of 1400 m. Along the Chantemerle green slope, you access, skis on, directly to the Grand Domaine de Valmorel (165 km of slopes).
From the 2026/2027 season, a 10-person gondola lift with a capacity of 1,500 people per hour will replace the Combelouvière chairlift and the Charmettes ski lifts. Access to the Grand Domaine will thus be much safer, faster, and more comfortable.
Starting point for more than 200 km of marked trails, the Robin chalet will seduce you with the warmth of its wooden interior and the comfort and modernity of its equipment (free wifi, TV, washing machine, dryer, fully equipped kitchen and refurbished in 2023). Facing the Vanoise glaciers, its south-facing terrace offers you an exceptional view of the mountains. The resort has a mini children's club, located a 5-minute walk from the chalet. In winter and nearby you can discover the pleasure of snowshoe hikes, night outings in a tracked buggy... In summer, the resort's heated swimming pool, located 100 m from the chalet, opens its doors to you. The tennis courts, the downhill enduro mountain bike course, a skate park and the hiking and mountain biking trails between forests and mountain pastures will delight young and old alike. For your welcome and comfort, your beds are made upon your arrival in the winter season.

This is the second time we have stayed in the ground floor apartment of Chalet Robin. The location is great for a short stroll or ski to tge village centre and the chairlift of Doucy Combelouviere. Thank you!

Although our overall stay was amazing, the advertised position of the apartment isn’t correct on the HomeAway website which is shown as Valmorel. The apartment is in Doucy! A smaller hamlet half an hour drive or half hour chair lift and ski to Valmorel. This caused considerable issues on arrival as we had arranged ski passes, lessons, and equipment from Valmorel itself and as first time skiers was very stressful. We hadn’t realised this until we had the confirmation address details sent through from Homeaway a week or so from our departure. This really wasn’t good for HomeAway and caused much stress! Please ensure the pinpoint shown on the HomeAway website is actually correct.
However our stay in Doucy and Chalet Robin was great, arrived to be greeted and shown around the apartment. The Chalet was very close to Doucy with a short walk to the small but very nice hamlet. Access to the Combelviere chair lift to the family slopes is great and ideally positioned for beginners. Thank you Chalet Robin.
Overall the Chalet was perfect.

Perfect location for the slopes lovely well equipt apartment ideal for a family however please note that if the upstairs property is let to a large group that like to party the chance of rest is nil.
