Le lieu est ravissant. Il est trés tranquille dans un cadre charmant.

The quiet location, the heart & soul with which the room was furnished "Au bord de la mer", i.e. lots of maritime objects: the painting above the bed, the quaint bathroom with a wooden sliding door, the clean & comfortable shower, the fact that we were allowed to park inside the courtyard of the property, the cordial welcome by the daughter of the owners

The website of the property stated 3 accommodations with *2* bedrooms, every one of them non-refundable; we (my brother and I) were to stay for one night, but en route there (ca. 600km from Nantes), the owner informed us that there had been a fire in OUR accommodation and that they would give us one of the other accommodations at no extra cost. Since every one of the 3 accommodations was SUPPOSED to have *2* bedrooms, which as brother and sister, we would have needed, I did not worry since allegedly, all 3 accommodations were supposed to have two rooms, and thus TWO beds. However, when we arrived, the daughter of the owners showed us to a pleasant room "Au Bord de la Mer", which was just A TINY quarter with *ONE* bed only, and very, very tiny bathroom and shower. There was also NO WiFi! Also, the breakfast was self-service, which we did not expect (although that worked out okay the next day and we were glad to not have to deal with the owners face to face again). When I communicated to the owners that we were a little shocked that it was only *1* (one) room and one bed, that there was no WiFi, and that breakfast was self-service, they were very unfriendly and rough, saying that they had been so gracious as to provide us alternative accommodation despite their fire (how were we supposed to have found anything else? Also, their rooms were all non-refundable...?) and that on BOOKING.COM it was supposed to have said in the ad that there was no WiFi and breakfast libre-service. None of that was true, when I checked again and again. Although the location is superb & quiet and although the room is beautiful and furnished with a lot of heart and soul put in, they SHOULD HAVE ADVERTISED it correctly: as room(s) with one bed only, with no WiFi, and with self-service breakfast. In the meantime, something has changed, but they are still advertising 3 two-bedroom accommodations. I would stay there again if I was only one person or if we were a couple.
