About this cabin rental
Welcome to River Bend along the scenic mouth of the Skokomish River. This private riverfront cabin has exceptional Olympic Mountain and Skokomish River views. Enjoy the adjacent 1000 acre farm for private long walks through a working farm, kayak the river to the mouth of Hood Canal, or return after your days outing to enjoy tranquil sunsets. View birds that call the valley home – bald eagles, pheasants, blue heron, vultures and special winter arrival of snow geese. In the fall enjoy Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch, hunt pheasant on the farm, or fish for salmon on the river.
The Space
This newly remodeled 1 bedroom/1 bath cabin is well appointed with all the comforts of home, including fully stocked kitchen, WiFi, electric BBQ, electric fireplace, W/D, kayaks and fire pit. Master bedroom has a king bed and queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
Enjoy the private outdoor spaces with spectacular Olympic Mountain and riverfront views – a lawn, deck, patio, fire pit, and electric grill. Launch kayaks from the front lawn and paddle the Skokomish River to where it empties into beautiful Hood Canal watching for seals, salmon, and other wildlife along the way.
Nearby attractions are Hunter Farms, Alderbrook Resort, Olympic National Park with numerous hiking trails, Hama Hama Oysters, The Ridge Motor Sports Track and more!
Wildlife observed in the area are elk, deer, orca, seals.
