This cozy cottage is dressed to the nines with midcentury flair! Vintage art and décor are paired with modern appliances and comfy furniture. You'll stay in a safe and quiet family neighborhood, two blocks from coffee, restaurants, and vintage shopping in adorable downtown Tipp City. Upstairs, there's a queen bed and two twins. Downstairs, a sleeper sofa converts to a full-size bed.
Note: We are close to the train! It's charming, but if you're sensitive to noise, you may want to choose another spot.

Very cute little cottage and very convenient to Main St and little shops as well as place to eat in Tipp. Train noise is something to think about if you aren’t accustomed to noise at night. Stairs are steep to bedrooms upstairs if you have littles or ederly.

Property was very, very clean and well-equipped. Front porch will accommodate friends or family. Beds were comfortable, temperature was easy to control, and neighborhood was very quiet—except for the trains, of course. Host provided lots of ear plugs, so we even slept through trains. (I’m pretty sure you can’t stay in Tipp City without hearing the trains.) Bathroom was large and had lots of amenities. We will definitely try to stay here on our next visit to Tipp City.

Our party of six (partner plus extended family) booked this property both because it was in the path of totality of the eclipse and because of its proximity to the railroad tracks. (My partner is a railfan who has his own YouTube channel.) None of us were disappointed.
The property is an early 20th Century bungalow that has been beautifully restored to its original glory (and then some!). The decorator's taste is absolutely divine, with a wonderful blend of mid-century bright colors and pastels. In addition, the living room and downstairs sitting can be easily turned into sleeping accommodations for additional guests in your party.
It's in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with friendly residents, plus a wonderful cat named Marcie who lives right next door. The house and yard are immaculately maintained, and there were even fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived.
I would particularly recommend this location for railfans. In addition to the tracks being within easy walking distance (even for my partner), good shots of trains can be obtained from the large, unobstructed windows in the sitting room, in case of inclement weather.
Only two minor beefs: The front door lock can be a little fussy, and the only bathroom is located downstairs.
