About this villa rental
Villa's capacity: max 17 adults + 4 children under 12 years old.
Old stone-built farmhouse dating back to the 900s which has been totally renovated into a most comfortable and charming Tuscany holiday accommodation ideal for large groups visiting Italy .
The villa, peaceful situated at the foothills of the Apennines within the Casentino Forests National Park, boasts magnificent views of the valley below, green hills and ancient medieval villages and castles. The property is surrounded by a well-kept green park (plus an extensive natural plot of approx. 90.000 m2) featuring a panoramic swimming pool (90 m2 size 15 x 6 open from April to October) with a safe area for children, ping pong table, volley court, playground, a large furnished gazebo and various shaded areas so that everyone can find the perfect spot to relax.
This is a typical old Tuscan country residence, renovated with love and care, respecting its original characteristics: all of the original building materials, terracotta flooring, stonework and wooden beams have all been used in the restoration with great attention to detail, which together with the quality furnishings contribute to an elegant and exclusive atmosphere.
There are 9 bedrooms available (one of which suitable for disabled), all furnished differently and each provided with the most up-to-date conveniences such as: en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, internet connection.
Sleeps capacity 17 adults and 4 children under 12 years of age.

Ground floor:
- 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom suitable for people with limited mobility - not equipped with air conditioning.
- 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom - not equipped with air conditioning.
The above mentioned bedrooms share the conditioner located in the hallway.
-1 double bedroom with extra bed suitable for children, with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.
First floor:
- 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.
- 2 double bedrooms with extra bed suitable for children, with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.
- 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom - not equipped with air conditioning.
In the annex (20 m from the main building) is found a professional kitchen, barbecue, a large dining room, 3 toilets and a panoramic covered terrace with tables and chairs for outdoor dining. Cook service available upon request.
Situated half way (60 km) between Florence and Arezzo, it is a perfect spot for visiting the main sightseeing towns and villages for art and history in Tuscany (Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca, etc.) all within easy reach.
All kinds of services can be found in the close, quaint medieval small town of Bibbiena (3,5 km).Shopping lovers should not miss visiting the Designer Outlet "The Mall" near Florence (50 km).

From our first view of the Villa through our entire two week stay we were in awe of the property. Laura and Fabio were gracious and charming hosts, always ready to help in any way. We requested a chef to cook for us the first week. Villas in Med found us Dino cuoco a domieilio. Dino, Simona and Loretta prepared the most exquisite meals. For eight nights we were treated to cocktails, appetizers, 1st, 2nd, 3rd courses and desserts, never having the same thing twice. We had 18 adults the first week, Dino, his wife and assistant become part of our family. They laughed with us, sang with us and cried with us on our last night together. This Villa is truley a slice of heaven.

The property is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos but be aware that the very basics aren't included. We had to go out and buy toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, dish clothes etc. Also - the gate is uber tricky and when we asked if there was a way to open it (other than driving your car down to it they said no) which is just about the craziest thing - because if you have guests not driving then they are stuck inside the compound. In the end we found a key slot on the side of the villa where you can open the gate without the car - but you have to walk down to the gate which is about a 10 min walk down a steep hill - you can't open it from the top. Also - the gate closed on our car - so be away of that. You can rent pool towls for 5 euro for the price of the villa they should just include them in my mind. Also - we had to pay an extra 70 euro for water after staying for a week because there wasn't enough included for all our guests for the week. The kithen is amazing - it's an industrial kitchen - but the stoves and over are hard to work. If you want to bbq you have to bring your own coal. There is no place to dispose of your garbage or recycling - you literally have to pack it all up with you and take it to town which seems crazy to me. We also found two scorpions in the villa - which might have been a result of leaving doors open - but check your shoes! It's an absolutely stunning place - but it could be even more amazing if they didn't insist on nickel and diming you on everything and include some of the basics. They were very good to respond to our queries over Whattsapp - but in person English was a struggle! I think Google Translate helped out a lot!

Great location. Lovely place. Would stay there again. Only thing that would be good is written directions for the door keys, oven, dishwasher, clothes washer, front gate. Sometimes these where tricky to use.

Fabulous property with incredible views of the Tuscan countryside. If you’re looking for a luxury, self-catered retreat, this property will tick all the boxes. Conveniently situated 10 minutes from Bibbienna, where you’ll find supermarkets, restaurants and pizzerias, the house is sufficiently secluded to provide a truly relaxing getaway without the inconvenience of being miles and miles from civilisation should you need a pint of milk! There’s more than ample space for the living set-up (we were a party of 10 adults and 10 children and there was plenty of room for all) and the outdoor areas, including the pool, are all thoughtfully and tastefully appointed to make the most of the natural backdrop.
