About this apartment rental
Nestled in a valley and south facing, il Mulino Torrigiani sits on its own bridge with the river Dezza gently flowing under it. Relax in the seating area on your own bridge. Pour a glass of wine, light a fire in our above-ground fire pit and listen to “la musica” (the music) of the Dezza as it flows under you. Or, meander in the back yard in your own garden. We have a table and chairs for breakfast or lunch and you can converse with the flowers and the birds. Here it could be 300 years ago as the sounds of civilisation are kept at bay by the sounds of nature. Walk the path, cross the footbridge and read a book by your own private waterfall. Open the windows in the evening to enjoy the fresh mountain air and sleep to the sound of our bubbling brook which flows directly under il Mulino Torrigiani.

This was our second visit to Tuscany but first in this property. Doug and Doris are fantastic hosts. On hand if you need them, but also just leave you to enjoy your stay.
The property is in a stunning location, perfect for walks, runs and cycling, all right on the doorstep.
The local restaurants (just 2km in either direction) are absolutely lovely and a true “local” experience as opposed to a “touristy” experience you might get in Lucca or Pisa.
The accommodation itself is everything you need. Spotlessly clean, great views, and lovely open plan living/cooking area.
We’ll definitely be back, probably with our bikes next time.
