The property was nicely laid out and the sitting area was very spacious.
Bedrooms were small, pleased there was just the 2 of us. The parking was terrible, in a garage but our car didn’t fit in as doors had to be closed. Had to fine alternative parking which would be very hard in summer months.

The location of the accommodation for the centre of Seahouses and the harbour was fantastic. The fact that the accommodation came with a garage was even better as parking in Seahouses can be sparse unless you use one of the main carparks. The property also had a view of the harbour, which was nice to have a sea view where you could see boats coming towards the harbour from the Farne Islands The property was very clean, well equipped, a good size and very comfortable. Seahouses is a lovely town well situated for exploring the Northumbria coast and surrounding area.
The only little negative was there is no parking outside the property and it is on a narrow one way street. So when you first arrive. Need to get the keys for the property to get inside to open the garage to get the car in to unpack and settle in. Unfortunately someone else wanted access to their property at the same time we arrived so I needed to move the car, come back around to get into the garage. This was just bad timing. Didn't have that issue of someone wanting into their property at any other time during our stay.

The boathouse had a fab location, ideal for visiting sea houses. Just around the corner from
The Swallows, Fishmonger. Beds comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped.
Shower is absolutely hopeless. It leaks on the floor, because the seal is no good. There is no power in it.
The carpets in the lounge are heavily stained and were dirty. This was the first thing that I noticed on arrival, also the kitchen table was sticky, hence we did not eat off it.
The bathroom smelt heavily of urine.
The property needs a good, thorough clean.
For the price we paid, I do not feel it was value for money.
