About this cottage rental
Sosgill Lodge was new in 2012 and sleeps up to four guests in light, warm & spacious comfort with exceptional mountain views of Blencathra , High Rigg & Skiddaw. Spacious lounge & kitchen / diner. There is an en-sui king bedroom, a second twin bedroom with a separate bathroom. Bio mass central heating keep the lodge warm and snug whatever the weather.
All bedding, electric, heating, broadband (light use only ) & towels included.
Inside you have a 42" free view tv separate radio. Coal effect electric stove in lounge. Kitchen with integrated dishwasher, tall fridge freezer, electric double oven & gas hob & microwave. The en-suit has a walk in shower & the bathroom a shower over the full sized bath. A mobile phone signal is available in the lodge as is a basic wireless broadband connection.
From the front and side take in views of fields often with sheep & lambs or cows.
The site is level with parking beside the lodge for two cars. Four steps to entrance. Decking to front and side with outside seating and table. Star gazing possible.
Walks, easy or difficult, start from your door. We are ideally located for touring most of the Lake District being 4 miles South from Keswick, 18 from Penrith & M6, 13 from Ambleside & 25 to Windermere. As on site owners we will have your property ready and can help with any questions you may have.

Wow! What a find. From the lodge itself to the location, views, facilities and clear skies, dark enough to capture images of The Milky Way - just amazing. Would highly recommend this property, spotlessly clean with the most delicious homemade carrot cake waiting for us on arrival. Facilities are fantastic, everything you could possibly need for a home from home stay was provided. Great areas to explore within short drives/walks. Gillian was so friendly and we even managed to see inside The Barn, a bigger property perfect for us to return with more family members. Hope to return soon to enjoy this idyllic area.

Highly recommend Bram Cragg accomodation..our lodge was fabulous...cosy and warm ,very well equipped , Covid secure, beautiful all round views.Wish we could live there !There are walks nearby and good roads to reach Keswick Grasmere etc . Would like to thank Gillian and Stuart for our chance to stay in their special place .We hope to return one day.
