Great Location: The apartment is well-situated, making it easy to access key areas of Val d'Isère.
Excellent Facilities & Fully Equipped: The apartment is modern, well-maintained, and comes with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Convenient Ski Locker & Parking: The ski locker on the ground floor is a great addition, making ski storage hassle-free. The availability of parking is also a big plus.
Clean & Nicely Decorated: The apartment was spotless upon arrival, tastefully decorated, and well-structured, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere.
Our stay at the apartment in Val d'Isère had both positives and negatives, but unfortunately, a few significant issues made our experience less enjoyable.
Problematic Bedroom Layout
One of the four bedrooms was disappointing and not as described. It had two extremely small single beds, which were unsuitable for adults—something that was not mentioned in the listing. While the shower was ensuite, the toilet was located outside the room, which was inconvenient. This room would only be suitable for young children, not for adults.
Dangerous Entrance Access
The entrance to the building was another major issue. There was a narrow pedestrian pathway next to the main gate, allowing access to the yard. However, during our stay in winter, this path was permanently covered in ice, creating a serious safety hazard. Two members of our group slipped and fell; one of them suffered a broken hand, forcing her to cancel her ski holiday and return home. This is unacceptable for a ski resort where icy conditions are expected, and proper maintenance should be ensured to prevent accidents.
While the apartment had its good points, these issues significantly impacted our stay. If the management addresses these concerns, it could greatly improve the experience for future guests.
