Lovely house in exceptionally convenient location.

Location was good, less than 5 min walk into the centre of town and the lake. The house was clean and homely. The garden was lovely
The owners never responded to a single message on booking.com. Instead I got sent pages and pages of messages about what to do and what not to do. I got the impression that the owners have gone "Corporate" and made it a very difficult experience for the paying guest.

I loved the layout of the house. It was comfortable and near Lake Windemere and all the restaurants and shops. Thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine. It was very good.
