This is our second time at the Hideaway again absolutely lovely so pleased. Great location to visit just outside Whitby. Lovely little village. Hideaway is so lovely they make you so welcome. Definitely be back.

Spotlessly clean and cosy little room with all amenities. Lovely location just a 10-minute drive from Whitby, nice and quiet away from the buzz of town but still very convenient to get around. Helpful to have off street parking. Hosts seemed very friendly over message prior to our stay, we didn’t need to contact them for anything while we were there but I’m sure they would’ve been helpful if we did.
For guests sensitive to noise, I’d recommend bringing earplugs for overnight - not sure if it was the fridge or other appliances but there was a loud buzz that was a little more noticeable overnight. Nothing major though.

Everything was perfect. Homely, clean and so quiet. Excellent location.
We liked everything about The Hideaway. If we were being picky the shower could be a little larger.
