Richly-appointed spaces include large gathering areas, remodeled kitchens, and spectacular recreational room with multigame table. The expansive backyard includes a well-lit patio, all in private, verdant surroundings. You’ll appreciate our free onsite parking. Convenient access to stores, parks, city hall, library, etc. Short drive to I-5 to Seattle.

In the past, we permitted small parties but guests have abused this privilege. They ignored Quiet Hours between 10PM-7AM. They stole or broke our furniture, decors, and personal belongings. As such, we no longer allow party on site.
We still welcome family and friend events, such as reunion, luncheon, etc. Please indicate your purpose for booking so we can preapprove your reservation. Thank you for your understanding.

This home served our needs, but I would not use the word "modern" to describe it. Internally, there have been a number of updates, but this is an older home in an older neighborhood. Lana, our host, was very responsive. When notified there weren’t enough towels for all of us, she helped us find more towels. See photos. "Expansive back yard" was unusable due to poor maintenance and uneven ground. I would not describe this as having "verdant surroundings" either. The grass was dried up in the backyard. Air conditioning consisted of three portable window units. No central air conditioning.

The only issue we saw was that there were more stairs than we anticipated from the photos. As many our group have mobility issues this was very important.

Interaction with owner was fantatastic. Everything in listing was as mentioned. Everything was clean and the house was perfect for our stay. Would definitely stay agian in the future.

Overall, the property was ok. It was spacious and close to the arena our kids were doing a hockey camp at. Unfortunately, it had a few problems. First of all, the listing said it had a/c, and technically it does. However, it is three swamp coolers that do not do a good job at cooling the two story house. Also, the kitchen was nowhere near adequately stocked. It had only a handful of silverware, and no drinking glasses. Plus, the silverware came out of the drawer dirty. The towels were another issue. Each bedroom had a single towel and wash cloth laid out on the bed. That equaled five towels for nine people for a whole week. The backyard was nothing but six inch high weeds, so the kids had nowhere to play.
On a good note, when we did contact the owner with a question, she responded almost immediately! Check in and check out were simple and the kids enjoyed the multi game table. If you are looking for a big house without a lot of frills, this might be your spot.
