The hotel is beautiful and well looked after, all staff is professional and friendly. Our room was spacious and light with super king size bed (as by request), extremely comfortable and clean. Spa was open and we had a great time there.

The location, staff and food is great, the rooms are clean but unfortunately for the asking price the facility is outdated and needs restoration.

Daysfield in the house no longer has the personal touch it used to. It’s a bit like a rundown stately home. In a hotel of this standard and price bracket the staff should be there at every need. Cleaner‘s housekeepers concierge. The Cleaners clocked off at 3 pm, so I’m one of the days I ended up having to clean the room myself and ask the staff to replenish what was needed . But as there were no housekeeping staff these items could not be accessed except for some towels it was very hard to find someone on reception the service was just very poor. Thank goodness the beds were comfortable I had nice soft crisp sheets. I really would not recommend staying here.
