Country Crabtree Bungalow with large wild garden

What a wonderful stay! My friend and I booked Crabtree Bungalow to celebrate our mum’s 70th birthday (Hazel and Sue), along with my 9 year old daughter and my friend’s 2 year old child. From start to finish, it was absolutely fantastic. Ruth is an exceptional host. I had asked for a couple of balloons and banners on the door for our arrival, but she truly went above and beyond anything I expected. It was such a thoughtful and lovely surprise- thank you! The bungalow really felt like a home away from home. It was cosy, welcoming, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was beautiful too - we loved sitting outside in the mornings and evenings, listening to the birds singing. The location was perfect, set on a stud farm with spectacular views all around. There’s plenty to do nearby, and Welshpool, with its supermarkets and amenities, is less than a 10-minute drive away. During our stay, we visited Barmouth Beach (around 1 hour 20 minutes away), Home Farm Attingham, an old workhouse, and on our journey home we stopped at the Black Country Living Museum. This is a fantastic property in a wonderful location that certainly won’t disappoint. Highly recommended!

There was nothing we didn't like.

We have stayed in many properties in U.K. over the years and this was definitely one of the very best. It is very modern, beautifully decorated, extremely quiet and comfortable and exceptionally clean. And I’d never seen a more generous welcome basket. Although tucked away down a quiet road, it was very easy to access main roads and see many sights. To top it all off, Ruth is the best host you will ever meet. She is so welcoming and responsive to any queries. You really can’t do any better than this!

Crabtree is an amazing property with top quality finish and furnishings and was spotlessly clean. The owners were also lovely and left an amazing welcome package.

Beautiful spacious bungalow. First impression was Wow Wow Wow . I like to stop in clean smart surrounding when i book my stays. We were not disappointed. The Host Ruth couldnt do enough for us. She is a warm friendly lady but respects your privacy. I enjoyed our chat. The welcome basket was very generous. The Bungalow was fitted with high class fixtures. The Garden is to die for my partners is a gardener and he loved it too. We got to look out at the lovely horses from bedroom window and drive in and out as situated on a stud farm. But has surrounding houses so not isolated. But very peaceful. Wish our stay had been longer than the 3 nights. We would definitely stay again and recommend. We were sad to leave would happily live there. Ruth's welcome cakes are gorgeous. Plenty parking for more than one car.
