Cozy Cottage with Private Fenced Backyard Pets Welcome

We were two adults and two small dogs staying in this lovely bungalow. It is definitely a place we would like to stay the next time we have to visit family in the South Bay. Our favorite part is that the bungalow is cozy and clean. it could almost be your own. It felt very good. It was a neat surprise to find I could charge me plug in prius outside to have a consistent 10 miles charge for getting around the Beach Cities. Everything was clean, it was like a miracle of cleanliness! My two areas for improvement is #1) provide more bins for recycling and food scraps. It's the law in CA now that we all need to do our part to reduce waste that ends up in landfills. Separating recycling (paper, aluminum, glass) and organics (orange peels, food scraps, coffee grinds, paper towels) is mandated by the state in all counties including LA County. A large recycle bin needs to be provided inside the home and a smaller composting bin with the compostable green bags needs to be set up on the counter. We ended up doing this on our own, but like I said, it's now the law and so this should be provided. 2) although there's nothing to be done about my second qualm, I was not a fan of staying so close to PCH purely because of the exhaust fumes when you go outside. /// This bungalow is a gem and a wonderful central location to the Beach Cities, Long Beach, and PV Peninsula. A great find.

We live in the area, but needed a place to stay for a few days while work was going on in our house. So a nice staycation for us. We appreciated how comfortable, well decorated, and well thought out the place was. For example, towels and linens, coffee maker/coffee, toaster, microwave, plates/knives, TV services, wifi, laundry, all nice and available. And there were labels on all the light switches - a nice touch! Also walkable to some good places to eat and drink, and central to a lot more places.

Really Clean. There were a basket of towels in each room as well as the bathroom. As well as coffeemaker (Keurig), electric kettle, refrigerator, plates cups, pots & pans, coffee, creamer, tea, etc. Simply but nicely furnished. Backyard with nice patio & landscaping was a wonderful surprise. Very restful. I would stay again. Only recommendation is the front steps need at least one rail. We were all over 60 & they were a little steep. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Great location! Right next to a lovely park, walking distance to Wholefoods and a movie theatre. Was here for work but I would bring my whole family next time! Check in was easy and the host was very responsive- everything was great!
