As people mentioned before in the reviews, it’s a nice large and quirky place; with funny spaces and little pieces of art and photos everywhere making you feel you really enter into some people’s home rather than a purely rental property. The kitchen is big and complete with lots of equipment to cook, and there’s a nice couch to chill out on, the bedrooms are comfortable, and there are a couple of showers/ bathtubs and zincs to brush your teeth/ clean up in each of the 4 bedrooms.
There’s no real walls between the bedrooms, so you don’t have to sort of privacy, but curtains instead. The train is passing by every now and then which didn’t bother us. Lots of plants, which was nice, less so, the fruit flies and other flies/ insects, although that adds to the quirkiness of the place if that’s what attracted you in the first place. There’s a garden, and it’s nice you can open the door and enjoy the sunshine. Neighborhood and supermarkets and some restaurants nearby, and you’re not far from the main train station.
They could definitely clean it a bit more, provide a little bit more stuff like hand soap/ shampoos/ few extra toilet rolls (we almost ran out). It would be nice to know which (if any) of the foods/ drinks/ oils/ teas & coffee etc are free to use or not. We weren’t really sure but just bought own stuff instead for the most part. There was a curtain missing but the owner was so nice to provide us with a little bit of compensation for that.
The communication beforehand was a little bit slow but in the end the owner is friendly and responsive once you get hold off him.
Recommend to people not minding the privacy thing; who don’t mind (or even like) the quirkiness of the place, and who are looking for a large house with many bedrooms for a fair price with different place to chill, and who don’t care about the perfect cleanliness that some other places may provide.

Het was een bijzondere, maar gezellige locatie. Het feit dat er geen echte kamers zijn maakte het ideaal om met een groep vrienden te verblijven.
De spullen van de bewoners waren overal weggestopt, dit was wel een beetje vreemd.
