Coach Cottage is a cosy and spacious holiday home located just a short distance from the coastal resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Situated in the quiet village of Brotton, this is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing retreat. Whether you want an adventure packed stay full of activities or a slow paced escape, Coach Cottage is ideally situated for you to experience both. Sleeping up to four guests, the bungalow provides a memorable getaway for small families and groups of friends.
The Space:
With three comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV, the large living room at Coach Cottage is the ideal space to kick back and relax after a long day exploring the beautiful local area.
Coach Cottage has an open plan kitchen and dining area. Fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals during your stay.
Head to the first bedroom and you’ll find a delightful space. Featuring a comfortable queen size bed with premium bed linens. Pops of colour are added through the wallpaper and great storage space is on offer thanks to the traditional wooden wardrobe. With a large, decked veranda located directly off this room, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the local area and beyond.
In the second bedroom, you’ll find a comfy double bed. In keeping with the rest of the property, the room is spacious and welcoming.
The family bathroom is where you’ll find a bathtub and overhead shower, along with a WC and basin.
Head outside and you’ll find separate front and rear private gardens. The rear garden is fully secured with a well kept lawn, perfect for those guests looking to enjoy an outside space during their stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is private parking on the driveway of the property, for up to two vehicles.
The Neighborhood:
Coach Cottage is located in Brotton, North Yorkshire, just a stone’s throw from the Cleveland Way National Trail and the stunning coastline.
The Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea is just two miles from the property. Here you’ll find a long stretching beach and a charming town centre with local pubs, restaurants and cafes. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.
Getting Around:
Coach Cottage is within 35 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn, Staithes, Sandsend, Whitby and Middlesbrough. It is also within walking distance of the Cleveland Way National Trail so you can explore lots of the coastline on foot easily.
You’ll find a couple of bus routes running through Brotton and the closest train station is Saltburn which is a short six minute drive by car. There are train routes to Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, York, Leeds and Manchester with connecting trains to Newcastle and London.

We could not have been more happy with our stay at this lovely house. It was absolutely spotless on check in and had everything you could need and more for our stay! We especially liked the tea bags, milk, washing up liquid and toiletries etc. which really helped when we arrived! The area is nice and quiet and the views from the back garden are spectacular! The property is spacious but still feels homely and was perfect for our family! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay, I'm sure we'll be back!!

The property is a traditional layout and suited us perfectly. The beds were very comfortable! We parked the car upon arrival and used the local bus service to get around. Having a bus stop across the road was very convenient. We would definitely stay again.
