Schinias beach is the main draw for visitors to Marathon, and is situated on the south-east side of the town, just a few short kilometres away. Schinias is regularly rated as one of the finest beaches in the Attica region, being long and sandy, and circled by pine forests, making for some excellent photographic opportunities.

Es ist ein wirklich tolles Objekt in einer grandiosen Lage. Der Blick auf das Meer ist einzigartig. Der Weg zum Objekt wurde uns durch Zusendung der Koordinaten erleichtert. Jedoch muss man für den Weg zum Parkplatz das erste Mal mutig sein. So eine Steigung bin ich vorher noch nie gefahren.
Es ist alles so, wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Allerdings könnten kleine Reparaturen nicht schaden, um Benutzungsspuren auszubessern.
Eine Mikrowelle und eine Spülmaschine wären schön.
Der Pool ist schön zum Abkühlen, jedoch ist aufgrund der Tiefe (ca. 1 m) und Größe schwimmen nur bedingt möglich. Die Poolpumpe ist auf Dauer durch ihre Lautstärke etwas störend. Sie geht morgens um 7.30 Uhr an und abends um 21 Uhr aus. Das ist aber alles jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Wir haben uns jedenfalls prächtig erholt und sind von Land und Leuten begeistert. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und man findet malerische Buchten in denen man fast alleine ist.
Wir wurden super betreut und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Objekt liegt im Berg mit gesamter Ausrichtung/Blick direkt aufs Meer.
Die Sonnenaufgänge sind fantastisch.
Die Betreuerin für dieses Objekt hat uns sehr spät noch empfangen. Sie konnte super Englisch und hat uns Empfehlungen zum Einkaufen und Essen gehen per Whatsapp geschickt, wie auch über Stromausfall informiert.
Sie hatte stets ein offenes Ohr und hat immer gefragt, ob alles Inordnung ist.
Die genaue Beschreibung würde wie folgt treffen:
- 2 Häuser nebeneinander mit jeweils 4 Wohnungen
- dieses Objekt ist eine Ferienwohnung über 2 Etagen mit einem privaten Überlaufpool (gekühlt), der leider nur 1 m tief ist (das war leider nicht zu erlesen).
- kein Sichtschutz zu den linken Nachbarn die den anderen Teil des Überlaufpools benutzen.
Die Poolpumpe ist wirklich laut und geht ca. um 9:00 Uhr an und ca. 21:00 Uhr aus.
Unteranderen waren auf unserer Poolebene an der Hauswand 3 Schränke, die so wie es schien alle Materialen (Handtücher, Schwämme etc.) für alle Wohnungen beinhaltete.
Das heisst, dass mehrmals täglich mindestens eine Person (Personal) an die Schränke gegangen ist, während wir im Pool waren.
Das empfanden wir als sehr störend.
Leider hatten wir nur einen Sonnenschirm für 3 Personen.
Im Juli August ist es kaum in der Sonne auszuhalten und ein grösserer Sonnenschutz wäre wünschenswert.
Wohnzimmer und Küchenbereich (ohne Spülmaschine) sehr modern und schön mit tollen Ausblick.
Gott sei Dank mit Klimaanlage, ohne ist es um die Jahreszeit nicht auszuhalten.
Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer sind einfacher aber i.O.
Nächste Einkausmöglichkeit ist in Marathon, ca. 18 Minuten entfernt.
Marathon ist sehr klein und gerade wieder im Aufbau, so würde ich es beschreiben. Die Wirtschaftskrise merkt man im allgemeinen sehr stark. Viele Geschäfte geschlossen und zwischendurch sind wieder neue Geschäfte eröffnet.
Sehr gute Einkaufmöglichkeit wie auch frischen Fisch erst in Nea Makri, ca. 12 Minuten von Marathon.
Schöner Strand vom Objekt ca. 5 Minuten entfernt.
