About this house rental
Kings Beck Barn is a stunning detached barn set in the countryside with rural views. The barn offers luxurious, spacious accommodation, a perfect venue to holiday with family or friends. Perfectly situated to enjoy the best of Norfolk, with the beautiful coastline just 8 miles away and the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall & Sheringham Park nearby.
The village pub, The Banningham Crown, is just over a mile away and offers great food & there is a new children's play park in the village.
Sleeping 10, there is plenty of space for all with two sitting rooms, four bedrooms, four bathrooms (3 of which are ensuite), a downstairs cloakroom, utility room, dining table which comfortably seats 10. The large open-plan kitchen is a real home from home with everything you might need, including a Nespresso coffee machine, electric range oven, American fridge freezer & all the necessary crockery, cutlery & glasses etc. It really is an amazing property for socialising with friends and family or celebrating a special occasion.
There are 4 stunning bedrooms, offering either 4 doubles (2 with an additional single bed) OR 2 Doubles & 6 Singles.
The barn has underfloor heating in the living areas downstairs and radiators in all the bedrooms. There is a large wood burning stove and wood is supplied throughout the year.
For entertainment there are 3 TVs (including Smart TVs), DVD players & a portable Bluetooth speaker.
The enclosed garden has two patio areas with an outside dining area. The private hot tub (seats 5) is included within your stay and has stunning views over the Norfolk countryside where you can enjoy some beautiful sunsets.
The games room provides a table tennis table, table football & dart board with two sofas.
The barn is ideally situated between the stunning beaches of the north Norfolk coast (8 miles), the Norfolk broads & the cathedral city of Norwich. 4 miles from the market town of Aylsham & only 5 miles from the stunning National Trust Property & Gardens Blickling Hall.
There are so many things to do on your holiday with us, from eating out in one of the many superb pubs and restaurants in the vicinity, including the award winning Gunton Arms to visiting the coast to see the seals, a boat on the broads or go crabbing at Cromer, the list is endless. If you need help finding a chef to cater for you at the barn, please ask Sarah who has several recommendations.
For those with young children we highly recommend Bewilderwood & The Roar the Dinosaur Park .
Bring your dogs (2 welcome) and explore the fabulous walks that lead from the door. Dogs are also allowed in the local pub.
Off road parking is available for up to 5 cars with further parking available if required. Please note the barn is at the end of a private gravel drive with one neighbouring property.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kings Beck Barn. There were 10 of us of all varying ages and there was plenty of space for us all. Very child/baby friendly, with stair gates, baby monitor and travel cot all provided. Everything we needed in the kitchen and barn decorated lovely for Xmas. We also enjoyed.use of the hot tub. Sarah was quick to communicate and check in and out was easy. Hoping to book to stay again at some point.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kings Beck Barn. It was spacious and comfortable.
The converted barn is in a rural and very quiet spot. It was lovely to see deer, hare, pheasant and lots of different birds.

Everything we wanted and needed. 8 ladies celebrating a 60th Birthday. The barn is spacious, comfortable and homely. Perfect for a get together. The host was lovely and was willing to help and share her knowledge. There are clear instructions on how thiings work and dos and donts, which were useful. Absolutely no complaints at all. A group of us stayed in King's Beck Barn for 3 nights for my hen do, and we were all so thrilled with the beautiful barn and surroundings. The property was generally incredibly peaceful and private. There was so much room for everyone to have their own space but plenty of communal areas for being sociable (living room, snug area, garden, games room in garage). The barn is very well equipped and had pretty much everything you could think of for a self-catering holiday.
Communication with Sarah was brilliant - she contacted me before our stay to confirm various arrangements and let us know how to check-in. The barn also has its own website with loads of information about property, the facilities, and things to do in the barn and the local area.
The only issue we encountered during our stay was that the hot water ran out on two occasions. We had a group of 8 but generally were all only taking quick showers as we had a pretty packed itinerary, so I'm not sure if this was due to over-use or something else. The handbook at the barn said that hot water was set to constant and that if we had any issues to call Sarah. We did call the first time this happened but unfortunately didn't get through. Sarah did very kindly dropped in the following morning and showed us a switch to flip if this happened again, which it unfortunately did later that day. This wasn't a massive deal to us however, and I would certainly return.
