The room is located inside a winery and feels like it is hand built from stone and wood. The wide plank floors were beautiful, and the bed was fabulous. I was traveling with my niece and had not realized that she would have her own room, so that was an unexpected nice surprise! We enjoyed a light lunch on the small balcony overlooking the town, saying hello to passersby :) The next morning we had to find the cafe for the breakfast that came with the room. We could not find the guy in charge to ask where the cafe was (for the breakfast that came with the room), but funnily enough, a woman from the town saw me looking around the little square outside the building and asked if I was looking for the winebnb breakfast! The breakfast cafe was also very nice, and opportunity to meet Sondrio locals.
Possibly better communication on arrival and for where we needed to go for the breakfast - that said, do not be deterred!

An unusual modern room in an old town house. The lady who let us in and did breakfast was charming and helpful.
Some of the features, plywood floors and walls, electronic lock release, chairs at breakfast- seemed more for appearance/"modern", than comfort and practicality.
