Perfect location, close to everything possible. Owner is so lovely and understanding, she ensured we had a perfect heating system even though it was controlled remotely. Am so grateful as it was quite cold when we .went, also extra blanket. Thanks. The beds were also perfect, slept like a baby. Another good thing is her quick response and really nice to know that she cared and appreciated constructive feedback.

Great house for the family to relax in
Minor points ... Could have done with side tables and lamps to avoid having to have main lights on, but no big issue.

House was easy to find with parking on the drive in a residential area, good local facilities and a bus stop outside. Beautifully warm during a very cold snap, comfy sofas and beds and a good sized kitchen with a dishwasher. Supplies for making tea and coffee was a thoughtful extra touch and appropriated. Quiet and peaceful at night considering proximity to a main road. Garden a real bonus for families, looks it would be like a lovely suntrap for warmer months. Good TV and wifi connections.
I missed having a bedside lamp and a coffee table in the lounge- we made our own out of cardboard boxes as I worry about putting cups on the floor in someone else’s home! Lounge light was a little dim for reading at night but a different shade would resolve this. These were very minor issues considering the excellent value for a family group.

Nice house, good location. Ease of access. Off-street parking.
Provision of washing up liquid and cloth, tea-towel, soap and toilet roll.
Nice bedding. Beds were good. Good provision of pans, crockery, mugs and glasses. Appreciated having plastic cups available.
With a few small tweaks it could be so much better, which was frustrating (e.g. No teaspoons, scissors, sharp knives or chopping board - which just made things so much harder than necessary for prepping packed lunches for outings, or dinners. No mirrors (other than the tiles on the stairs), no coffee tables or just somewhere to put a cup down if in the lounge, a smaller dining table would be much more functional - the big one up against the wall just meant we couldn't really sit round it for dinner, can't access wardrobes but also no surfaces to put anything on (bed-side tables or similar)
