About this house rental
A stunning, newly renovated, 3 bedroomed house with its own private garden at the foot of York's medieval bar walls. Just a few steps from York minster and all the attractions of the city centre.
The space
This 2 storey home has its own terraced, lawned garden that adjoins the city walls. There is a sun trap patio area perfect for al fresco food and drinks. Bifold doors from the indoor dining area and living room open onto the garden.
Guest access
The whole of the house is self contained and for guests' sole use. There is a shared corridor through from the street that leads to the front door of the house, which is at the rear of Gillygate. It's location means that it has the advantage of all the amenities of the city centre but is quiet and peaceful and separate from traffic and noise from the street.

Second stay in this ideally located apartment. Well equipped, well presented and ideal location for the city centre. Great communication from host. Definitely a recommend and likely to stay again.

We had 4 nights in the Bootham house at the end of August and loved our stay. They house is in a brilliant location with everything we wanted to do within a 15 min walk. The house is clean and comfortable, and the bedrooms were really comfy, quiet and dark. The open plan living and kitchen space was bigger than the photos look. Because it's an old house it's a little gloomy, but it didn't bother us at all. A great house that we'd definitely book again.
