Honeystone Cottage is a beautifully presented 4-bedroom modern home located in a quiet residential area of Bourton-on-the-Water, just a 10-minute flat walk to the village centre.
The detached property sleeps up to 8 guests and is ideal for families or groups of friends exploring the Cotswolds.

The bright and spacious kitchen diner is exceptionally well equipped with Neff appliances including:
• Dishwasher
• Electric oven
• Halogen hob
• Fridge freezer
• Washing machine
• Microwave, kettle, toaster & coffee machine
A separate tumble dryer is located in the downstairs utility cupboard.
The large dining table seats up to 8 guests, with French doors opening onto the enclosed garden — ideal for summer dining.
A highchair and two travel cots (with sheets) are available free of charge, along with plastic cups, plates and cutlery for children.
A starter supply of tea, coffee (pods & sachets), milk, dishwasher tablets and basic essentials is provided.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Upstairs you’ll find four comfortable bedrooms with quality bedding:
-Bedroom 1 – Master:
UK King-size bed, wardrobe with motion lighting, hairdryer and ensuite shower room with walk-in shower and touch mirror.
-Bedroom 2:
UK King-size bed, wardrobe with motion lighting, hairdryer and full-length mirror.
-Bedroom 3:
Twin (two 2ft6 beds) or UK king setup on request, blackout blind and wardrobe.
-Bedroom 4:
Twin room with fitted wardrobe and laptop-sized safe.
There is also a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower with towel rail, soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
A hand towel and bath sheet are provided for each guest.
Outside Space
The enclosed garden features a large dining table seating 8 and a Summer House with sofa and PlayStation 4 (with controllers + games) — a huge hit with children and teens!
The private driveway accommodates 2–3 cars and the garage provides secure storage for bikes or outdoor equipment.
Location
A short walk takes you into the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, where you can enjoy cafés, pubs, shops and popular attractions including Birdland, the Model Village, the Motoring Museum and Greystones Nature Reserve.
You’re perfectly placed for exploring the wider Cotswolds, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Lower Slaughter, Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bibury and Burford, as well as day trips to Sudeley Castle, Blenheim Palace and National Trust properties.

Five Stars for Honeystone Cottage. The home was immaculate, perfect for our family. The location was also perfect for visiting the village and launching day trips to the area. Helen was helpful and quick to answer. We had a great time.

Our family of six spent a delightful week at this beautiful, ample, excellently furnished and taken-care-of property. The hosts/owners were in contact with us to make sure that we checked in O.K., were comfortable and were ready to immediately resolve any issues. We have stayed at several properties, in England and elsewhere and our stay at the Honeystone Cottage at Bourton-on-the-Water definitely ranks at the very top. We highly recommend this beautiful home away from home to any group wanting to enjoy the beautiful Cotswolds.

Lovely comfortable property, well appointed with good space. We enjoyed our stay.
A couple of minor additions would be to put 1/2 hooks in the bathrooms for towels to hang on and a waste bin in the bedrooms.

This house was perfect in very way! It is exactly as described with plenty of space for two families each of 2 adults and 2 preteen kids, to enjoy a long weekend. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the garden and summerhouse was perfect for the kids to have a space to socialize. The location is excellent, only a 10 minute easy walk into the town centre and even less to the Coop grocery store. I would highly recommend and my kids said it was a highlight of our European trip! Thanks!
