The house includes:
(1). An open kitchen combined with a large dining room that includes two sofas.
(2). Leading from 1, a step ladder to a bedroom on the mezzanine upper floor, where you have one large bed and another sofa. (3). Leading from 1 too, a separate toilet.
(4). Also leading from 1, a small bedroom with a loft bed (two beds stacked upon another).
(5). Leading from 4, a step ladder to another bedroom on the mezzanine upper floor, where you have another bed.
(6). You have to walk through 4 to reach the bathroom with a shower and another toilet. The bathroom is separated from 4 by a curtain.
My French friend loved the view from the main room: You can look down on the new harbour and across to the mountains and hills. She says it´s exceptional and the value for money is amazing. I loved the atmosphere in the house: it is filled with carefully selected childrens´ books, games, music instruments, small plants and homemade arts and crafts. This is a place built with care and filled with love. Everything shows signs of care, personal repair and attention. The host left us good coffee beans in the expensive coffee machine that grinds the coffee. The host was available by phone when needed. His family member (who lives below) was kind enough to answer any spontaneous questions. This was a really relaxing stay in a very comfortable, unpretentious home. A perfect holiday.
I would have liked a paper in the room with instructions for 1. Wifi code, 2. how to use the heaters and the coffee machine, 3. what to do with rubbish and 4. what we should clean in the flat before leaving.
The tourist office of Ciotat gave me a map which shows where to bring the different types of rubbish.
All these points were not an issue, because we asked the host´s family member and he was very kind and helpful, but maybe he´s not always round, so it would be practical for the host, too, to just leave instructions in writing.
POOL: it´s not for swimming, just a larger tub and not available in March. But the beach is close :)
PARKING INFORMATION: The closest parking space on the big road is free from 8 pm to 8 am. Plus you get 2 additional free hours per day. If you park at 8 pm, you have to click on the key "1", entitled "pay" before you leave the car. You get a paper ticket that you put in your car window.

Pour un prix si bas nous n'avions pas beaucoup d'attentes.
Pas de possibilités de se garer dans le logement mais plein de choix pas si loin.
De la place, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon weekend/semaine
