About this apartment rental
Set in the beautiful village of Crete Cote, this lovely apartment is nestled amongst the forest, with the most stunning view of Mont Blanc and just below the village of Plagne 1800.
A rare opportunity for 8 guests, families or friends, to enjoy a spacious and modern apartment, whilst still having the cosy chalet feel.
The chalet site of Crete Cote is between the villages of Plagne 1800 and La Roche. Both have chair lifts that access the huge 425km of PARADISKI pistes.
With a free shuttle bus every hour, offering access to Plagne Centre, Plagne 1800 and also every hour to La Roche.
There is also an off piste track a few minutes walk from the building that joins the bottom of the red run down to Roche - this is for those who can ski, but the access on the shuttle bus is so easy, dropping you a short walk to the piste in Plagne centre, Plagne 1800 or La Roche . We also use Oxygene ski school who offer a minibus service to and from the ski school meeting points in Plagne Centre, which is a much loved service (and on many occasions much easier than walking distance properties, in Ski boots with children or beginners!)
The apartment consists of two bedrooms, each with twin beds that can be pushed together and used as doubles and two bedrooms with bunk beds. One bathroom with a full size bath and integrated shower and a separate shower room. There is one separate toilet.
The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is spacious and comfortable offering a well equipped kitchen with the following - dishwasher, fridge freezer, full size oven and 4 ring hob and microwave, fondue equipment and filter coffee machine & plenty of cooking equipment to feed 8!
Lovely, large windows and balcony door make the place feel bright and overlook the stunning view. There is free parking all around the building. The village itself does not have any shops or restaurants but it is a few minutes on the free bus to the next villages and this runs until 12am.

It was not possible to access the hilly driveway up to the apartment as it was covered in black ice/snow. We arrived late (in the dark) due to long delays and had to leave our car at the bottom of the driveway and carry all our luggage/food up to the apartment which after travelling for 16 hrs wasn't great. The next morning we put on snow chains but there was still an issue trying to find a parking space for our car. The apartment wasn't very clean. Some dirty cutlery, filter with used coffee left in the coffee machine. Beds were not made and we had to wait until the next morning for towels. The oven needed cleaning out. There were plenty of pots and pans etc.... good fridge/freezer. Heating was great, very hot. Showers great. Would we return, no we would go for accommodation in either 1800 or 2000 where there is easy access to slopes (no bus rides), shops, restaurants etc.......On the day we were leaving the gritter arrived to grit the driveway up to the apartments so this may not be an issue for others. An average stay but great skiing and wonderful conditions.

Jolie vue, quartier calme, appartement propre et agréable, grande terrasse.
Au mois de février, seule une toute petite partie de la terrasse est au soleil l'après midi.

Only had issues opening the door with a wrong code given by the owner for the lock. Besides that it is a good house. Getting to the ski area is by bus which only goes 1 time per hour, so don't miss it.. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.
