Wonderful apartment (Blockhäuschen) – very clean, perfectly equipped and dog-friendly. The owner was extremely reactive and showed top hospitality, including a delicious homemade cake waiting for us in the flat. Beautiful nature, a charming village with great restaurants, and an excellent ski region. We will definitely come back!

Excellent location, beautiful view from balcony, you have everything for your stay. We stayed in appt 7 which is in 2nd floor in attic and if you are toller (not me) you need to be aware of this because some parts are under roof (like bathroom for example) .
Very friendly hosts will explain you everything upon arrival. In basement you will find common facilities with books to read, table football and some other games, plus there is fridge with cold drinks which you can take and pay for them latter during checkout.
With stay you will get free ticket (Grainau guest card) to local Zugspitze banh (train), train station is just 5 minutes walking from apartment, and with this train you can go to Garmisch or Eibsse lake. Also, you get one entrance to nearby pool/spa area which is also few minutes walking distance. I think with this Grainau guest card you can use all local transport like busses.
Around apartment a lot of walking or hiking trails you will found.
Also, balcony is big and you can stay on it even if it is rain because it is well protected by roof, plus on it you will find two cozy chairs and you can enjoy some drinks and beautiful view.
Good WiFi network available for free.
To summarize even we didn't have a nice weather that week (it was very rainy week) and I was quite sick (I came with a pretty bad cold and running nose) we enjoyed our stay very much.
Nothing special but maybe I would like to have a little bit more tick pillows on bed, but to be honest I didn't ask for them, maybe they are available if you ask for them.

Apartment No. 4 has two bedrooms, kitchen with a table for 5-6 persons and the living room. It is enough for 5 people.
Very clean and tidy. Very well equipped kitchen with good quality appliances, incl. mixer. There are dishwasher tablets and dishwashing liquid.
There was a welcome handmade cake waiting for us in the apartment upon check-in. It was a nice surprise.
Wi-Fi is good, but not working in one bedroom.
Location: to the Zugspitze, which I highly recommend for ski is 5 mins by car (parking costs 5 EUR/day). You can also get there by train from Grainau station - 5 mins by foot (but with ski equipment I would rather not recommend it). To Garmisch - 15 mins by car and 15 mins by train.
Bakery, restaurants and coffee shops are just around the corner. Bigger shops only in Garmsch - 5 mins by car (Aldi, Edeka). Local aquapark with swiming pool and sauna is about 3 min by car or 5 mins by foot.
I was given the different apartment than I actually booked on booking.com (smaller and with one bathroom). It is worth
to check with the owners about the accommodation details after you made the reservation..
