We arrived from the airport at 22.00, to be met by Jenny . The hosts live in the adjoining property , and it was great to be welcomed by them, instead of looking for keys in the dark. That is a huge plus for Villa Croatia, and one of the reasons why we booked there. As 2 couples in a 3 bed apartment, we had lots of room .. but it is spacious anyway ,
and has a big balcony too.
The sea is just a few minutes walk .. , and a couple of restaurants, a bar, and a shop at the little port ( There are several more a little further in , within a 10 minute walk , toward the city.)
Bus no 8 gets you into Zadar city in about 25 minutes, and leaves every 30 minutes from Diklo 's port.
Boat trips can be arranged by the hosts... we were sorry to not have time to go.

except we should have stayed longer , and went on the 4 hour boat trip !

The balcony and view are really amazing, and the location is also excellent.
Facilities and price. >100 euros/night is way too high for such a small apartment. We also had a lot of issues with the toilet water constantly running.
