EMMA Bett und Bistro

We stayed at Emma Bett on our 1st night of our 15 day trip through Europe. My husband and I had the room at the top of the inn- it was clean, and the bed was so comfortable. We learned that Europeans use a duvet covered comforter as the top layer. Also- no washcloths. Luckily we knew this and brought our own(washcloth) My SIL, who traveled with us some- had the very charming 1st floor room that opened to the private garden. The owners- mother/daughter - were so kind and were intent in making our stay as we expected. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next morning in their downstairs cafe. We enjoyed strong coffee, protein enriched croissants and some other delightful items. We loved the fresh flowers and tidy and clean common areas.

We wished we had planned to spend 2 nights in Winterthur- it was a welcoming, walkable, beautiful city. Art museums, cafes, authentic cheese fondu, milk chocolate, good coffee, lovely wine and interesting conversations with those we met.

Sehr zentrale, aber angenehm ruhige Pension. Die Zimmer liegen zum Hinterhof und bieten eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Bistro gibt es wirklich leckere Gerichte – absolut empfehlenswert!
