The breakfast was delicious! The Honest Bar and Snacks were convenient. The location was nice and short walk to downtown restaurants/shops.
Construction obstructed the view we were excited about but that is unavoidable for the hotel.

Nice room, comfy bed, top view of the Matterhorn (except from the cranes because of the construction site they only told us about after we booked). Very clean and good location. There was no hotel bar unfortunately, so no cocktails available, but there was a self service fridge with a small selection, which was a little bit overpriced tho. Bring your own wine to have a nice drink on the balcony.
The sauna and whirlpool were only possible to use until 5pm (why??), so we could not make full use of the amenities in the hotel...
No hotel bar, but it's very close to other bars/hotels where you can have a drink. View of Matterhorn was nice, but had a tall crane right in front of the building. They did tell us summer is construction season, but only after we've booked.
Unfortunately I left a jacket behind in the hotel room, and they did not tell me about it. When I asked a few weeks later they said yes it's here, but started fingerpointing about me making a mistake too when forgetting it, instead of an apology or offering to send it. They then made me pay the postage + 15.- (!) for their effort to bring it to the post office.. All in a very unfriendly manner, and not as you would expect a good friendly hotel to treat their guests, esp. after paying 300.-/night.
