The front desk staff was very helpful and communicative, making checking in and out easy. The hotel lets you store your bags there after checkout for a few hours, which was helpful. Easy to get to from the train station and good location for walking around Strasbourg.
While the room was clean, the furniture and items are not well maintained. For example, several items in the room are scratched up, like the table, or just look poorly maintained, like the hairdryer. This reduces confidence in the cleanliness of other items around the room. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the phone (what to press to be able to call out to a local number) as the only instructions were about calling reception.

The twin room was small but comfortable, with nice wall art and a partial river view. The starting point for the Batorama river cruises is just across the bridge, which I highly recommend. The location is excellent, only two minutes from Notre Dame.
We were unable to book breakfast on the same morning, even though we were informed it would be possible. Nevertheless, I would still recommend the hotel and suggest booking breakfast one day in advance. The room was a bit cold at first, but after calling reception, the issue was resolved within a couple of minutes. Room slippers would be a nice addition.

very central, lovely location.
French lady at reception generally very unhelpful and rude. we were absolutely and flat out refused to extend check out by an hour. clean sheets, towels and bathrooms but housekeeping could be stepped up by removing cobwebs from behind wardrobes, doors and common areas. And please, you could do sooo much better in customer service!
