The Lodge is in an industrial estate next to the Helix park. It was quite - from the point of view of industry and other guests anyway. The wind, which wasn’t particularly strong did make quite the woo-woo sound though! The Lodge seemed to be designed in an H shape, with our room on the inside of one of the legs, so mostly the view was another part of v the building. By squinting you could see some rabbits in the industrial estate though, which was nice.
It had a little ckean kitchen downstairs with a microwave and fridge, which was great, though not enough space to sit and eat in.
The staff were very friendly and seemed happy to chat.
The bedside lights were a warm white, rare in this type of hotel, and what a difference that makes. Good choice that I wish others made. Beds were comfortable.
My mum (the other guest) said if i did a review to mention that a grab rail in the shower would’ve been good to help get in and out. Other than that, all good.

Clean, quiet, convenient stay. The reception team were friendly and kind. Located in the middle of industrial estate so if travelling alone without a car, may be slightly inconvenient to get to. Nothing particular to fault about the place itself- met expectations. Spacious room.
