Rosa is bathed in the warmth of the Fredericksburg country, only 3.5 miles from Main Street (yet 100's of miles from the city with the wild deer, turkey, rabbits, and swarms of birds that call the plaza and compound home).
An opulent king size bed invites you, but you can also partake of the daybed nook to read (or just watch outside the windows). A full, private bathroom adds to the serenity.
She includes a mini kitchen, with microwave, toaster oven, mini-fridge, utensils and plates, and (of course) a Keurig machine to brew that Joe to sip on when you use the deck chairs on your deck to enjoy the setting.

We enjoyed our stay and it was a good location and distant to Fredericksburg! Perfect for us to enjoy relaxing and welcomed by the host. We also were granted a later checkout!!! We will be back

The cabin was really cute and made a perfect home base to enjoy a weekend in Fredericksburg. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. Our pups loved running in the back field. Great little getaway from Austin!

Are you seeking a peaceful a vacation destination away from the big city lights and sounds? Would you like to downshift your daily routine to a slower pace of life? Do you value community and an atmosphere conducive to making new friends? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the destination for you. This unique lodge is not only an accommodation, it is an experience as well as an escape as the name suggests. Mary Sue and JD have created their own little piece of paradise. Situated just a few minutes northwest of town, you are close to the sites and sounds of downtown Fredericksburg but also find yourself in the heart of the hill country wine culture. Immerse yourself in nature and the open spaces of rural hill country by day and star gaze next to a fire pit while roasting marshmallows at night- the recipe for serenity can be found here. The rooms may have started out as shipping containers but have been transformed to comfortable and tastefully decorated lodges appropriate to the setting. The hosts are great and go above and beyond to help make your visit as pleasant as possible. No need to continue searching for accommodations for your hill country vacation. You have found Odonata Escape and the answer is clear.
