Alma Cottage by STAE-Homes is a delightful, traditional miners cottage in the heart of the stunning Rhonda Valley, South Wales. Perfect holiday home or contractor’s accommodation. Ideally located close to the train station and all the attractions of this stunning area of South Wales. Parking directly outside the front door. Full-kitchen, lounge, dining table, 2 x WCs, WIFI and Smart TV. Everything provided for at this adorable cottage. See us at STAE-Homes.
The Space:
Alma Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage which sleeps up to 5 guests. Its has been renovated to a modern standard and includes all the mod-cons including underfloor heating; yet is retains its charming feel as a traditional miners cottage in the heart of this world famous valley.
Upstairs bedroom 1 contains a double bed and bedroom 2 contains two single beds.
The upstairs bathroom contains a bath and over-bath shower.
All towels, and bed-linen will be provided for your enjoyment and convenience.
Downstairs, the living space is open plan and is the perfect place to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs including a washer dryer and fridge freezer.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom / WC for your convenience.
The sofa in the lounge is a sofa bed for the fifth guest.
Alma Cottage by STAE-Homes is minutes away from both the Bwlch and Rhigos famous mountains.
Perfect for Family Holidays, Mountain Bikers and Trekkers.

Be sure to confirm the correct number of guests and pets so that we can enjoy a stress free check in.
Parking is directly outside with plenty of additional unrestricted parking spaces less than 20m from the front door.
The cottage is typically self check. You will receive a code within 48 hours of your check in date.
CCTV protects all areas outside the property.

Pentre is a quaint village in the Rhondda Valley in South Wales. The name is taken from the Welsh word Pentref, which translates as homestead.
Alma Cottage is in the heart of the Welsh Valley giving you access to plenty of nature and adventure.
Alma Cottage by STAE-Homes is minutes away from both the Bwlch and Rhigos famous mountains.
5 mins from Treorchy and Treherbert etc.
Just a 20 minute drive from Zip World; the fastest sit-down zip wire in the world!
A similar distance to the west and you'll find the Afan Forest Park which is perfect for mountain bikers or hiking. On the route you pass over the Bwlch mountain, with it's stunning views of the second highest public mountain pass in Wales.
Approximately 30 minutes drive to the North and you will reach the Brecon Beacons mountain range which contains Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales.
Approx (7.3 miles) 20 mins is the Rhondda Heritage Park a Welsh Coal Mining Experience.
Getting Around:
The Rhondda Valley enjoys great connectivity; both rail and bus routes can be easily accessed within minutes
