There are 2 sitting rooms, a conservatory, dining hall, fully fitted kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
One of the bedrooms with a bathroom are on the ground floor making it perfect for anyone with limited mobility.
The outside space includes a pretty private garden with outside dining and a driveway with parking for 2 cars.
Ideally located only a 10 minute river walk from the centre of Kendal with its vast array of shops, restaurants, pubs and wine bars! It is in a perfect position for enjoying your stay without even the need for a car!
Oxenholme , the mainline station with regular direct train services from/to London and Edinburgh, is only 5 minutes away by taxi.
For those without a car the 555 bus stop is a 2 minutes walk from the house making Windermere and the Lake District easily accessible. ( the 555 bus is a direct bus from Kendal through to Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick)

Our stay in this fabulous character full building ticked lots of boxes for us. Its spacious with everything you need. Location was brill despite being on a busy road with good access to the local shops and beautiful countryside. Well worth a visit.
