About this house rental
Furlongs is a fabulous property with ample space for up to ten guests to experience a special holiday in this most unique location. Furnished and equipped to exacting standards, the cottage offers all that one would wish for on a luxury break. Located at the end of a quiet lane from the centre of Abbotsbury village, Furlongs sits proudly just a few steps below the iconic 14th century St Catherine's Chapel. From every window the views are spectacular across the surrounding beautiful Dorset landscape, and you can stroll out of the front door to enjoy the popular village with its tea rooms, local pubs and shops, or nearby Swannery, Tropical Gardens or famous Chesil Beach.
With a choice of sitting rooms the property is perfect for getting all the family together, and there’s also plenty of space for relaxing away from all the main activity in a separate snug. The generous property sleeps ten, with three super-king size bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. The bespoke well equipped kitchen has a natural limestone tiled floor, twin ovens and an American style fridge freezer and leads to the large, light filled dining space for 10 with french doors out onto the terrace and garden. Outside, there is a covered dining, barbecue and games area.

Another lovely stay at this amazing property. This was our 6th visit with the family and once again had a great time.

Beautiful house in stunning location. Warm, comfortable and has everything you need. We were 5 with a bedroom each, really good value at this time of year. Furlongs has a very well equipped kitchen so we catered in. Set at the end of a track, at the bottom of Chapel Tower, there are walks aplenty in this picturesque village. At this time of year there is only a cafe, shop, woodwork gifts and two pubs open - more seasonal options from March onwards. But the house is a destination in itself. We will be back. Thank you.

Another wonderful break at the Furlongs. Our third stay at this lovely property and another already booked. So much space, ideal for a group of friends or a large family.
