Arena Ipanema is a 3-star hotel. The rooms are extremely small and offer no basic comforts — no coffee or tea, and no robe or slippers for the pool. Breakfast is composed of terrible coffee, and poor-quality food overall. Already broken items in our room from outlets to shower fixtures.
The positives are the location (great access to Ipanema and Arpoador) and a check-in, cleaning and cafeteria service. Beyond that, it’s all downhill.
For the price charged, this hotel offers low value. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere — there are much better options in Ipanema and Copacabana for the same or lower rate.
