Sensational location across the road from a lovely beach. Supermarket nearby. Lovely breakfast room. Good size room. Staff were great. Clara was a great help.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights at CDesign. Here are the positives: great breakfast, close to the beach, friendly staff.. Here are the possible areas for growth: facilities/amenities are worn down, beds need better sheets, consistent hit water, overall maintancenof guest rooms and floors. If you’re doing tours such as Christ the Reseemer, Rio area, Tijuca Forest, then CDesign maybe to far (40 min) to tour pickup areas. On our next trip, we will stay either in Ipanema or Copacabana.

After a veeeeey long day, I arrived around 8 pm to do my check inn.
The room was far from ready and it wasn't cleaned after the previous passenger. I also requested a large bed and i was given two small beds.
I raised my concern with the staff and it was soarted out immediately.
The following day I left the hotel around 9 am and came back around 3 pm... The room haven't been cleaned.
I just stayed just two days so this was not a major concern. However it the cleaning service is an oversight that should not be ignored.
On the bright side, hotel was amazing, the staff just have the patience of a guru monk and speak in whatever language you may need. Thumbs up for them. They solved my every need immediately. All in all was a great experience
