we enjoyed a pleasant 3 night stay at Halifax Hall and would definitely return
the staff, rooms and breakfast were exceptional and although the evening dining menu was restricted it sufficed
the hotel is surrounded by student accommodation which didn't really affect it much and was in very close access to the Botanic Gardens and and extensive park

For what we paid, this was good value. However, to be honest, it was more of a student hostel atmosphere than that of a hotel. Perhaps I am being unfair, but the photos on the website led us to expect more than we got. The staff were very friendly, the hotel is very clean and newly decorated everywhere and the breakfast was good. Whilst our room was spotless, you would not want to spend any time in it - it was pretty spartan.

Had a great overnight stay for work. Breakfast was good food wise, though drinks wise it could've been improved. Coffee was cold and orange juice wasn't that great. But as for the stay itself ticked the boxes that matter.

Lovely Hotel with lovely facilities and supplied great customer service. Would definitely use again. The only issue I see is that the Hotel and car park needs to be sign posted better to ensure customers can find it easier and go to the correct car park
