Who wants to go to Italy and stay at the Marriott? If you're going to go, you want an authentic experience, and this is it. I felt like I was in a movie or a scene from "Medici" - it was just incredible. On the other hand, no one cleaned our room, there was no toilet paper, and the coffee machine hadn't been cleaned, so it didn't really work. But the location is spectacular, and the host gave us the most personalized tour and introduction to the villa. He started off by saying, "Don't push too hard on the front door - it's over 500 years old". YES - that's what we came for, and it was absolutely stunning.
