Simple accomodation. Clean, safe. 5 minutes walk to the best parts of Vannes. Good selection of food for breakfast

The hotel’s location is excellent, a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Vannes. The car park is convenient, but extremely tight so you have to be extra careful whilst manoeuvring. Vannes railway station is about 15mins walk away.
The hotel is looking a bit scruffy on the outside and a tad run down on the inside. The rooms have been refurbished to some extent, but still have quite a dingy and cheap feel to them (the ancient tiny TVs don’t help). The bathrooms appear to have had more money spent on them and look quite good. The room was, however, very clean and the daily housekeeping did a good job.
The AC worked well and we did not struggle with noise from inside or outside the hotel. We found the beds comfortable.
We did not have breakfast or any other meals at the hotel, so can’t comment on that aspect.
Staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful and we were able to borrow an iron and ironing board.
I would not be rushing back, but it certainly met our needs on this trip and we felt the price we paid was fair for what we got.
