Pousada Caborê was a great place to stay in Paraty. It was a wonderful little oasys. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the facilities were good too. The pool was excellent to get away from the heat and the breakfast was delicious. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The manager is ABSOLUTELY CHARMING (A GERENTE E MUITA ENCANTADORA :-))) . Although she does not speak English (and it helped that I speak some Portuguese), she makes every effort to make you feel very welcome indeed - in classic warm Brazilian style. Our room was SPOTLESS, and the breakfast buffet the next morning was extensive and tasty. We were sorry that we could not cancel our following booking to stay there longer - we gladly would have. The pousada is also conveniently located in a very quiet location, between the town centre and the better beach close to town. Highly recommended!

The best part of our trip to Brazil was Paraty! Really enjoyed staying at Pousada Cabore. The rooms were clean. The staff (especially Luis!) were very helpful and courteous. You can book excursions at the front desk. We did a jeep tour through the rainforest and a boat trip - both were excellent! The free breakfast in the morning was tasty. The hotel is across the river from the center of town. If you're walking from the bus station, it's about a 15 minute walk over some pretty rough cobblestones.
