Location: 5–10 min drive to downtown and Loire Valley attractions.
Room: Street-facing, very quiet, clean and comfortable.
Staff: Professional and polite, front desk open 7am–11pm.
Notes: Gated parking, only one pillow per bed.
This hotel is not within walking distance of downtown, but with a car, it’s an easy 5–10 minute drive to all the main attractions. Amboise is a great central hub for exploring the Loire Valley.
Check-in/check-out is at a manned reception from 7am–11pm. Staff were professional and polite. Our room faced the street, but there was never any traffic noise, making it very quiet. Parking was gated, and while not strictly necessary, it seemed typical for the area and gave peace of mind.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only minor issue was that each bed had just one pillow; a second pillow would have been welcome.
