Arrived after a long day, friendly welcome, lovely room, excellent shower. Had a delicious meal and a pint in the adjoining restaurant. Up to a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Next morning enjoyed the superb breakfast before leaving. Great value for money. Will come back .

Okay when booked we were told hotel had been renovated and done up, we where given a room above bar area , first night I felt we where in the band as was very loud etc, then in morning room was freezing cold as no heater or in bathroom , had ac but gave us a sore throat, then the method to get hot water in room was to run tap for 20minutes as we where told water tank is at other end of hotel so had to wait 20mins for a shower each day we have never had this before in all our travels , overall not a nice hotel was glad to leave and won’t be back anytime soon
